We sell pigs for butchering, roasters and castrated
male piglets only. We do not sell breeder pigs. We sell unregistered
purebred and crossbred Heritage pigs. All of our pigs for sale are raised on
the ground and given fresh milk twice per day. They have
chemical free pig feed available 24/7. We Do Not Sell
Breeder Pigs.

Heritage Breeds - Old Spot Tamworth Cross

The
Old Spot pigs are a
heritage breed and it takes a little longer to raise and
Old Spot pigs tend
to be higher in fat which makes the meat more tender and
less dry. The Old Spots pigs can handle being outside better
than the commercial pig breeds.
I enjoy raising different breeds
of pigs such as Heritage breeds such as the Old Spot pigs to see the difference in growth,
personality, mothering and of course taste of the meat. We
have pigs for sale all year round. We sell pigs live as
castrated males,
whole, half or offer selected cuts. All

Old Spot Pigs For
Sale

I bought and raise Old Spot pigs because they are
a heritage breed and they are so fun to watch them run
with their bunny type ears. Old Spot pigs are a hardy
breed of pig. Old Spot pig is moist and tender. Old Spot pigs take longer to grow
so they are less desirable to the commercial pig farmer.
We have a great selection of pigs for sale and baby
pigs for sale.
They are a good roaster pig and even make great family pets. |
We often have litters of Old
Spot / Tamworth cross baby pigs year round. They have the best
of both breeds going for them.

We have pigs for sale almost all year round. The pigs for sale will be available
for meat or as pets.
For meat they are available in
whole, half and specific cuts. The yield on the Old Spot
pigs would be less because of the higher fat content, I would
think that you will lose 30% to fat, skin, bone, etc.
which means you would get aprox. 168 lbs. of meat from a
250 lb Old Spot pig. We feed all of our pigs fresh milk 2
times per day and all the chemical and antibiotic free pig
feed they can eat. |
