Oberhasli
Dairy Goats
|
|
Oberhasli dairy goats are a dairy
goat breed that is not as common as a Nubian goat or an
Alpine goat. We bought the Oberhasli dairy goats because
my husband and I liked the way they looked. They remind
him of deer. Oberhasli dairy goats are a quiet and hardy
breed of dairy goat.

Oberhasli Goat Kids
|
|
|
An example of our goat kids,
"Buttercup", one of our purebred Oberhasli Goat's had two
buck kids. They are purebreds but
these are unregistered. You can tell these two are pure
bred looking at them though.
These twins have sold but are a great example of what we
raise.

Oberhasli Dairy
Goats Crossed With An Alpine Goats
|
|
 |
This
is Snowdrop. She was our first Dairy goat. She is a
Oberhasli goat crossed with an alpine and is our best
milker. She has been milking since Feb 2004. |
|
|
This is Tilly. She is a registered
Oberhasli Dairy Goat as well. She is new this year to our
herd but is fitting in very well. She is pictured on our rock pile that we have
for the goats to play on behind the barn. |
